High schoolers.. Thank you for showing up tonight at open mic night. You guys rock. You showed a a great deal of initiative. You have no idea how much our middle schoolers look up to you.

Haha, so not really.. just haven’t had the opportunity to get around a non-work-related keyboard and type out anything lately. Work is unusually hectic, but going well.
A week from tomorrow we get to find out if we are having a boy or a girl… that’s exciting news, of course. We’ll be posting something here, i’m sure. I’m pretty sure that I had a blog rant stored up, but don’t really remember what it was now.
I looked into doing the Google Adsense thing on my blog, but I decided that 1) I don’t want to commercialize this blog so that later I can rant about how Christmas is so commercial, 2) It could turn into a tax hassle and 3) I’m not a fan of exposing my alleged readership to even more media onslaught.
So, there you go.. i’m sacrificing money for you people.. so send me some, ok?? Great.

With all the talk about P&M going on at Grace Church lately, when I ran across this news story and subsiquent web site I couldn’t pass it up.
Yes, it’s a safe link. Actually a church (found in this news story) started this site.
Give it a vist. I really think it’s worthwhile for guys. Even got a peice of free software that runs on your computer and once a month it e-mails your accountability partner a list of questionable sites you’ve visited . “Oh i’ll just close it” you say? Well, it logs everytime you manually close it too. So your accountability partner will know if you tried to circumvent the system. Why did you close it if you weren’t doing anything? (It uses minimal system resources, so “It made my computer slow” doesn’t work either)

So now we have decided that the Bible is not true? Such relativism and “pick and choose” christianity.
It’s like people are saying “Well, I like this part, but that part.. well that just doesn’t mean what it says, surely! That’s so politically incorrect” or “That doesn’t make me feel good so it must not be from God… Oh i’m sorry I mean to use a lower case g for god.. I don’t want to offend anyone.”
Man this stuff is getting too frightening. I makes me sick to my stomach.
I just have to remember that God is in control.
