Well, I just returned from seeing V for Vendetta. While technically a well done film, as are all of the Wachowski brothers movies, I disagree with the politics of the film. But who wants to hear about that?

The real story here is this: That creepy mask.

This guy is the main focus of the film… now we could start on a long drawn-out discourse on his reasons for wearing the mask, or his blank face being expressionless as a way of semiotic message that shows how he represents all those in the revolution.. but NAY! I think I have uncovered the real meaning here….

He was introduced into show business by his cousin: None other than “Burger ‘King’”

Yes, our masked friend above couldn’t have been introduced if our society had not already been desensitized by the creepy “King” waking up people in their beds with a sandwich that has more pig than a BBQ festival. It’s a PLOT I tell you! A PLOT!
