Ann went to check the mail today, and when she opened the door on the mailbox there was a stench of smoke. It appears that someone smoke-bombed our mailbox. The problem is, this isn’t new. I replace my mailbox about every 3 months because of stupid crap like this. Tonight is New Years Eve, and we’ll probably have something else happen…I’ll be on the front porch for most of the night, dressed in all black with a spotlight.
I guess I just don’t understand why the crap this is amusing. How is it more fun to smoke bomb someones mailbox than it is to just set that smoke bomb off and watch it go somewhere else. Never mind that we’re in the worst drought in 100 years, so the smallest spark could easily start a big fire.

I guess I have just never been that amused with smoke bombing someone’s mortgage bill and power bill. Call me a stick in the mud if you must.
