Today I decided to watch some things off the DVR while I worked from home for a while, and decided to watch “Tenacious D in The Pick of Destiny”. BIG. MISTAKE. Clearly this is 93 minutes I will never EVER get back and probably have to go through counseling just to trust another film any time soon.

First off, I am totally cool with a movie having no redeeming intellectual value. I have seen almost every Jim Carey movie, and enjoyed some of them. The stupidity of this movie could have been okay but the language and the overt sexual references were not tastefully done and held no artistic value. I recommend that if you haven’t seen this movie, just don’t even waste your time. It’s really not worth it.
