WooHoo! Got home today, and my new receiver was already here! Good stuff!
Now I’m back in business!
(Anna, the improper grammar is for you!)
Got myself an MP3 player this weekend since I dropped my XM subscription and a car with an aux in jack. I also picked up a subscription to the Rhapsody service. So far, I have only failed to find one or two songs I’ve looked for. If you know me, you’ll know that I have looked at everything from Americana to Zydeco.
The best part is there is no charge per song. For the $15 monthly fee I have unlimited access to the entire music library (save a few greedy artists who only want their albums sold, despite the royalties they would make from my subscription)
Anyway, all you need is a Rhapsody compatible player like my Sansa Clip and a broadband Internet connection.
It’s no substitute for satellite tv, but I have spent several hours looking for obscure stuff and catching up on all those sophomore albums I never picked up because funds were low.
